Our Story

Why?

Gifts are important in our lives, for various occasions (birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, proposals, weddings, holidays such as Christmas, New Year) and for different people who are important in our lives (the other half, mom, dad, siblings, friends, classmates, colleagues). Gifts convey our love, appreciation, humour, and other feelings in a subtle way that transcends time & space. At a certain point in our lives, when we look at the gifts, they will tell us the untold stories, which bring out the buried memories! 

A most important element of a gift is not its price, but the message it conveys. For an avid reader, a bookmark is more appreciated than a luxurious bag. Yet in our world filled with off-the-shelf standard products, it is not easy to find a gift that is unique enough. Luckily, with technological advancement and access to tools, we can customize to make your gifts special. 

Of course, we do not want to reinvent the wheel from scratch. And truth be told, we are not that capable either ;). Hence, we will help add a magical touch to make the useful/fun/cool gifts special for your loved ones. Tell us what you prefer, and we will try our best to make it happen. If we can't make it, we will let you know. Feel free to ask!

Who? 

We are a small family business, trying to share our own appreciation of tiny beautiful things in our lives through the products and services we provide to you. The nuance of different kinds of beauty is embedded in the gifts from our small shop.

From the daily communication in our mix-culture family, we learn to see the similarities and differences of cultures and individuals. And we firmly believe, the key is to communication. The similarities outweigh the differences to draw people closer to each other. Meanwhile, the differences make the world more colorful!

For the products you find in the shop, some convey cultural elements from folklore, from festivals or pop culture, some integrate a touch of meanings from personal stories. Some might stay blank, waiting to be enriched with your stories. So, please feel free to reach out and tell us what you think and want!
